GWIC engineering the future

São João de Brito Neighbourhood

GWIC provided Engineering Design for the requalification of the São João de Brito Neighbourhood infrastructure in Alvalade, Lisbon, as part of an initiative commissioned by the Lisbon City Council. The project aimed to enhance urban living by creating new green spaces, improving pedestrian and vehicle circulation, constructing sidewalks, and rerouting traffic away from the neighbourhood’s central areas. These improvements transformed São João de Brito into a more pedestrian-friendly and organized community, contributing to a higher quality of life for residents.
