GWIC provided Construction Supervision for the São Roque Complex, a highly regarded project designed by renowned Portuguese Architect Souto Moura. The scope included the rehabilitation of the Central Laundry, a century-old structure, and the construction of a striking new Auditorium. The Auditorium’s design, with its exposed reinforced concrete structure, is supported by an innovative roof slab system and console-like base, reinforced by gable walls. Additionally, GWIC redesigned the exterior spaces, adding two new access points to the lower square within the complex’s courtyard, contributing to the transformation of this historic site into a modern architectural landmark.
