GWIC provided Engineering Design and Construction Supervision for the Angel River Hydroelectric Power Station in Alajuela, Costa Rica. The project consists of two independent power generation units, Angel 1 and Angel 2, each with a capacity of 5 MW. Key components include the construction of diversion dams, a water intake system, a 100,000 m³ reservoir, and a 1-kilometer water adduction pipeline, as well as engine rooms covering 1,000 m². This renewable energy project contributes to Costa Rica’s sustainable power generation, reinforcing GWIC’s role in environmentally friendly infrastructure development.
