GWIC plays a crucial role in a consortium overseeing the comprehensive refurbishment of the Infulene Wastewater Treatment Plant, strategically positioned near the Jardim neighborhood. This project is essential to meet both current and future wastewater management needs. The refurbishment focuses on meticulous construction oversight, cost and time management, quality control, environmental and social responsibility, safety, and efficient site logistics. With the upgraded plant now capable of processing wastewater for up to 128,000 inhabitants and handling 1,340 m³/day of faecal sludge, it represents a significant leap in urban infrastructure. Funded by the World Bank, this project showcases our commitment to sustainable urban development.
